Abstract

Based on data from the monitoring of the results of scientific research, which is conducted by the Research Institute of Scientific and Technical Potential and the History of Science named after H.M. Dobrova of the NAS of Ukraine, statistical data on the development of research in the field of renewable energy by the institutions of the Department of Physical and Technical Problems of Energy of the NAS of Ukraine for the period from 1995 to 2000 are given. A steady trend of growth in the number of works on this topic was noted - during the considered period, their number increased approximately 4 times. It is shown that there is a high correlation coefficient between the effectiveness of works and the amount of financing, other things being equal.
